Your use of this Website or any of its sections or pages (together or alone, “Services”) is governed by these terms and conditions (collectively, these “terms and conditions”). By accessing or using this Website you will be taken to have read and accepted these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to these terms and conditions, please do not use this Website. IAGES reserves the right, without notice, to change or modify any of these terms and conditions in any manner and at any time, and changes to these terms and conditions will take effect when posted on this Website. This Website and the information and materials on this Website are provided for general informational and educational purposes only. At the Indian Association for Gold Excellence and Standards (IAGES), we are committed to maintaining transparency and clarity in all our processes, including payments made towards annual membership and accreditation.

All payments made to IAGES for the following purposes are non-refundable:

  • Fees paid (20% of annual membership fees) to obtain provisional membership receipt and remaining 80% of annual membership fees paid towards obtaining the IAGES accreditation certificate
  • Any applicable taxes, including Goods and Services Tax (GST)

Once a payment is successfully processed, it shall not be refunded under any circumstances.

IAGES Membership fee structure

The membership/accreditation fees for value chain partners seeking IAGES accreditation are structured based on their annual turnover.

Notes:
  • Annual turnover is based on the most recent audited financial statements (previous FY) of the value chain partner.
  • Membership fees are exclusive of applicable taxes (18% GST), which will be added as per the prevailing rates. Fees are subject to periodic review and may be updated by IAGES.
  • All payments must be made via IAGES portal and are non-refundable
  • IAGES will issue invoices for all payments, including applicable taxes. The Provisional Membership Receipt, Final Payment Receipt and Accreditation Certificate will be available for download via the IAGES portal.

Terms and Conditions
  • Payment for Provisional Membership
    After completing the self-assessment, a value chain partner who wishes to proceed for external assessment must pay 20% of the applicable membership/accreditation enabling external assessment.
  • Payment upon completion of external assessment
    The value chain partner must pay the remaining 80% of the membership/accreditation fee once the accreditation is approved by the IAGES.

If IAGES believes that you have breached these terms and conditions, they may take such action as they consider appropriate in the circumstances, including, but not limited to all or any of the following actions:

  • Close this Website;
  • Temporarily or permanently prevent you from using this Website;
  • Issue a warning to you;
  • Take legal proceedings against you and seek reimbursement of all costs any and all losses, damages, liabilities, expenses, and costs incurred as a result of your breach of these terms and conditions on an indemnity (pound for pound) basis;
  • Require that you return or destroy copies of materials you have made in breach of our terms and conditions; and/or
  • Disclose such information to law enforcement authorities as IAGES considers necessary.

Whilst every reasonable effort has been made to ensure that the content of this Website is secure, IAGES makes no condition, representation or warranty, or other term, express or implied, concerning the security of this Website, including, without limitation, with respect to the ability of unauthorised persons to access, intercept or use information or materials transmitted by you to this Website or from this Website to you.
