Mr. Srinivas Injeti

Chairman

Mr. Srinivas Injeti is a distinguished retired IAS officer of the 1983 batch (Odisha Cadre) with over 40 years of exemplary experience in strategy, public policy, administration, and regulation. He holds a B.A. (Hons) in Economics from Delhi University and an MBA from Strathclyde Graduate Business School, Glasgow University, UK. As Secretary, Ministry of Corporate Affairs (2017-2020), he spearheaded major reforms in insolvency and bankruptcy law, corporate governance, and competition law. His diverse portfolio includes tenures as Union Sports Secretary, Director General Sports Authority of India, Director at Foreign Investment Promotion Board, and Chairperson of National Pharmaceutical Pricing Authority. He served as the first Chairperson of the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) from 2020-2023, establishing India's maiden international financial services centre at GIFT IFSC.

Mr. Rajesh Rokade

Mr. Rajesh Rokde, from the esteemed Rokde Jewellers in Nagpur, upholds a remarkable legacy of over 100 years in the jewellery industry. He is the current Chairman of the biggest domestic body of the Gems & Jewellery Industry, All India Gem & Jewellery Domestic Council (GJC). Known for his visionary leadership and deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities within the sector, Mr. Rokde aims to drive initiatives that will strengthen the domestic market, promote innovation, and enhance the global competitiveness of Indian jewellery. Over the past many years, Mr Rokde is actively leading in representing key industry issues such as BNS 317, Hallmarking, GST etc and has made numerous representations to the Government to resolve the challenges faced by the industry.

Mr. Prithivi Raj Kothari

Nominee Director

Mr. Prithviraj Kothari, the promoter of RiddiSiddhi Bullion Ltd (RSBL), has been a pivotal figure in the evolution of India's bullion market. His innovative contributions include the introduction of 'Instant International price based INR denominated bullion trading,' a move that significantly streamlined market operations. He also played a key advisory role to the Indian Government on market organization, demonstrating his foresight and influence in shaping policy.

Mr. C B Singh

Independent Director

Mr. C.B. Singh is a distinguished Indian Economic Service Officer of the 1986 batch with over three decades of exemplary service in economic policy formulation and regulatory governance. He served as Member (Technical) at the National Company Law Tribunal (NCLT), Mumbai Bench, where he adjudicated over 2,600 corporate law cases involving complex insolvency resolutions and mergers under the Insolvency and Bankruptcy Code and Companies Act. As former Additional Secretary to the Government of India, he has held senior positions across multiple ministries including Consumer Affairs, Shipping, and Petroleum & Natural Gas. His expertise encompasses corporate governance, regulatory frameworks, public sector restructuring, and policy reforms. He has also served as Government Director on boards of major PSUs including HPCL and Oil India Ltd, and worked as Senior Consultant with the World Bank.

Mr. Sachin Jain

Non Executive Director

Mr. Sachin Jain joined the World Gold Council in March 2024. Based in Mumbai, Sachin is responsible for leading the World Gold Council's activities across the Indian gold market. Sachin brings with him deep understanding of the Indian consumer and jewellery market, from strategic thinking to practical execution. He has over two decades of rich experience and understanding of the Indian consumer. Sachin has joined from De Beers where he has held several senior roles for the past 13 years. As Managing Director of DeBeers India, he has led the De Beers Forever mark business in India and the Middle East. Previously, Sachin has held senior positions for De Beers, Lladro, Swatch Group and Benetton.
